Primary Logo (1970-1973)

What is the Buffalo Bills Logo?

The Buffalo Bills logo, used mostly during their AFL days, was in use from 1962 to 1973 on their helmets but only from 1970 as their primary mark. The logo features a standing red buffalo in profile, facing to the viewer’s right. The Bills replaced this logo with a charging blue buffalo in 1974.
