The Miami Dolphins logo used in the late 1990s showed off the first major logo change for the club. The logo remained an aqua-coloured dolphin wearing a white helmet with a coral M on it leaping in front of a sunburst, but the dolphin itself was given a complete makeover, now with much more prominent features and the addition of navy blue as a team colour. The Dolphins would adjust the shade of orange and navy blue slightly following the 2001 season.
