The Seattle Seahawks original logo, first used in 1976, shows the profile of an osprey head facing right. The bird is depicted in blue, white, and green, with a striking green eye. The design is heavily inspired by traditional Northwest Coast Native art, with the bold shapes and curves representing the cultural heritage of the region. This Seattle Seahawks logo was used by the team from their inception in 1976 through to the 2001 season.
