Las Vegas Aces Logos History

The Las Vegas Aces, a team in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), originated as the Utah Starzz in 1997 before relocating to San Antonio in 2003 to become the Silver Stars. In 2018, they moved to Las Vegas and were renamed the Las Vegas Aces. Originally, their team colors were black, red, and gold, but for the 2024 season, they switched to black and silver. The team's logo features a stylized "A" shaped like a diamond with an LV below, reflecting Las Vegas' renowned gaming culture.

The Aces play their home games at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. They have experienced considerable success since moving to Las Vegas, winning back-to-back WNBA championships in 2022 and 2023, the first WNBA team to do so. The name "Aces" was chosen to embody the competitive spirit and high stakes associated with Las Vegas, emphasizing a winning attitude in line with the city’s casino culture.
