The second incarnation of the Washington Senators, an expansion team for the 1961 season. The expansion Sens used only one logo during their brief tenure showing a pitcher in red throwing a pitch in front of a blue U.S. Capitol Building. The Senators scripted above in blue all within a blue and white circle. The Senators relocated to Dallas becoming the Texas Rangers for 1972.
