Boston Bruins Logo

Primary Logo (1949/50-1994/95)

What is the Boston Bruins Logo?

Referred to either as the "Hub City" logo or the "spoked B" logo, the Bruins have used a logo in this style for over 70 years now. First introduced as an anniversary logo a year prior, the team made some adjustments to it and made it their primary logo for the 1949-50 season. The logo shows a "B" in black trimmed in gold inside a black circle with eight gold spokes surrounding it. This logo was finally updated and replaced 45 years later in 1995.
