The Utah Jazz returned to a design very similar to their original logo for the 2016-17 season. The logo showed JAZZ in navy blue with green elements, the J doubling as a musical quarter-note and a blue, yellow, and green basketball. The location name of UTAH in the upper right. Differences between this and the original logo include the colours and the typeface used for UTAH.
