The Los Angeles Lakers logo during their famous Showtime era featured a yellow basketball with LAKERS streaked across the front in Forum Blue (or purple) lettering. The Lakers would use this logo while winning several NBA championships. Differences between this logo and the previous one include adjustments to the speed lines and the shade of purple.
