Los Angeles Kings Logo

Primary Logo (1995/96-1997/98)

What is the Los Angeles Kings Logo?

The Los Angeles Kings logo of the Gretzky-era was a silver pennant with white and black trim and KINGS written across in black letters with speed lines. The logo effectively enclosed the previous version, incorporating the team name directly into the overall pennant shape. Sometimes called the Chevrolet or Bowtie logo, it was first introduced in 1988, but here shown with the slightly modified version starting in 1995-96, when the white shadowing was eliminated on the word KINGS.

Notable Players of this era: Rob Blake, Wayne Gretzky, Luc Robitaille, Jari Kurri
