The Pittsburgh Penguins logo shows a black and white penguin holding a stick and wearing both gloves and skates while in front of a yellow triangle. The triangle represents the Golden Triangle region of Pittsburgh. This logo was originally used by the Penguins in 1968 but has been recoloured and modernized over the years, the yellow is slightly darker than in the 1960s and the mouth and eyes of the penguin have been tweaked over that time.
