Upon changing their name from Florida to Miami, the Miami Marlins introduced this brand new logo and colour scheme for the 2012 season. The team now wore black and orange (warm red) with blue, yellow, and silver elements - their logo featured a stylized M with a marlin fish leaping above and the city name of MIAMI below.
