More Information on This Logo

The official National League emblem made it's début at the NL owners meeting in Chicago on December 10, 1956. The logo was worked in conjunction with NL President Warren C. Giles who had always "dreamed of having" an official league emblem. The process took two years with 12 different designs presented.
