The original Baltimore Orioles logo introduced following their move from St Louis to Baltimore in 1954. The Orioles began play using this logo featuring a cartoon bird wearing a ballcap perched on top of a baseball - within the baseball is the new team name of Orioles. This logo would last 12 seasons before being replaced in 1966.
