What is this Chicago Cubs Logo?

From 1957 to 1969 the Chicago Cubs wore this logo, a large red C with UBS inside all placed within a thin blue circle, on their pinstriped home white jerseys. In 1970 the circle was made thicker and even moreso once again in 1979.
