What is the Kansas City Royals Logo?

The original Kansas City Royals logo showed a blue home plate design with a large white R and an interlocked KC in gold within it, above it is a gold crown with ROYALS written below in gold. This logo was adjusted slightly for the 1979 season with a new wordmark below the plate.
