The Los Angeles Dodgers made some tweaks to their logo in 1968, most noticable is the scripted team name in blue was now much more thick than before. The red streaking baseball behind also was made thicker, and the entire logo was rotated slightly to the left. The Dodgers darkened the shade of blue used on this logo in time for the 1972 season and continued to use it through the end of 1978.
