Secondary logo of the Winged FAU type above the owl head in blue, red, and grey. FAU`s branding process began 18 months prior to the February 2005 unveiling with the proposal development, creation of a branding committee, and selection of Rickabaugh Graphics to evaluate the university`s visual identity. It was determined that FAU should retain the owl mascot and the university`s colors should remain blue and red.
