Back in 1998, someone noticed that McNeese State\'s athletic logo, the one with the bucking horse and rider, looked too much like the logo used by the University of Wyoming. Enter the lawyers. Rather than fight a costly legal battle, McNeese gave in and agreed to make changes leading the new design in 2002.
