The Buffalo Sabres returned to blue and gold in 2006-07 with the so-called Buffaslug logo. It showed a yellow buffalo leaping with red, silver, and blue features. The logo was extremely unpopular with fans and replaced quickly, lasting just four seasons before a return to the original team logo in 2010-11.
