The Philadelphia Phillies redesigned their logo set for the 1970 season, the new look featured a red P with a baseball in the counter of the letter above a Phillies wordmark in a similar typeface. The Phillies would continue to use this style of logo on their uniforms through the end of the 1991 season despite making frequent changes to their primary logo and colours.
