Used sparingly, officially as an alternate logo, this design placed the Anaheim Ducks primary logo, the team's name in gold and black lettering, directly onto a black oval. First adopted for the 2006-07 NHL season, this logo was at one time used on-ice on the side of player helmets. Note that the Ducks adjusted the shade of gold they used for print and digital logos for the 2010-11 season.
