What is this Phoenix Coyotes Logo?

Known as the Kachina Coyotes logo, the Phoenix Coyotes used this logo from their first season in Arizona in 1996-97 through 2002-03. It shows a coyote in the style of a kachina doll, wearing half a mask, holding a hockey stick, and a crescent moon on its chest. This version of the logo, shown here with the coyote placed above the team\'s name, was replaced for the 1999-2000 NHL season with a slightly darkened colour of brick red.
