Following a minor tweak for the 1999 season, the Baltimore Orioles used this logo from 1999 through 2008, it shows a realistic portrayal of an oriole perched on the i in the Orioles scripted wordmark with a green and yellow baseball diamond behind it. The differences between this logo and the 1998 version include the bird itself getting a new look as well as the elimination of second base from the baseball diamond.
