Los Angeles Dodgers Logo

Primary Logo (1979-2011)

What is the Los Angeles Dodgers Logo?

In 1979 the Los Angeles Dodgers undid a lot of the thickening of their previous logo, the Dodgers scripted wordmark was tilted slightly to the left, the letters were much thinner creating more space between each letter, and the soaring red baseball behind was also much thinner. This logo was used until 2011 when another tweak was made in time for 2012.
